The trilogy of the Misadventures of Tallulah Casey took me on a journey of amazement, laughs and love. I've read all 10 books of The confessions of Georgia Nicolson and loved each one of them, since then I've loved Louise Rennison as she has a wonderful touch when it comes to writing. I was hesitant at first to reading the trilogy as I thought nothing could compare to Georgia Nicolson, but I was so wrong! I started by reading the 1st book Withering tights. This book took me a while to read, wondering if I regretted buying these books or not. As I got closer to the end I was hooked and read the next two books within days.
The first book for me was a long introduction and was quite slow, but I was glad I read it and by the end things got more interesting. It starts off by telling you her situation, with her new Performing Arts school called Dother Hall; that she begins attending. It introduces you to her new friends and really sets the scene. Later through-out the book you meet the boys from the boys school; Woolfe Academy. Phil, Charlie and Jack are the main boys that she then becomes friends with and you will meet through-out the rest of the series. You also encounter the boys that live in her local village such as Seth, Cain and Alex these as well you meet through-out the rest of the series.
For me the second book was by far my favourite out of the 3, that's when things started to get more heated. There are 3 main boys interests in this book, but not all of them she likes. Alex, is her dream boy but her little friend, Ruby's brother. Charlie is everyone's dream boy, but he starts off unfortunately taken. Then there's Cain, the dark, mysterious boy she hates, but ends up becoming closer to him then liked. I loved the second book I could not stop laughing, as well as gasping many times at situations she gets herself into.
I finished the 3rd book quickly a little disappointed to the ending and who she ended up with. For me there wasn't enough books, I wanted more, to see the other possibilities that could've happened. Especially with Cain, I still have very many unanswered questions. Does he like Tallulah? Does she secretly like him? Will they ever be together?
I loved the build up and tension between the characters, as much as the relationship's. Although I wasn't so happy with the ending, that lead me to want more books so other relationships could be played out. I wanted to see more of a relationship between Tallulah and Cain. I fell in love with Dave and was routing for him through-out the entire series of the Confessions of Georgia Nicolson, in this series I was routing for Cain.
These books are very light-hearted and hilarious, once you've started reading you can't put them down! I loved these books and I recommend you read the series if you want to have a laugh and fall in love with a few boys. I am glad I brought these books and only wished there was more!
Thank you for reading.

Did you want Tallulah to end up with Alex, Charlie or Cain?
Comment on your thoughts of the books, I would love to hear! :)
