The battle of weight loss, the strive towards greater fitness. You see it everywhere, magazines, adverts, internet, books dedicated to this. Everyone has some soft of fitness goal.
I am still studying at school so finding the time to workout between school hours, homework and social life is difficult. Not to mention the healthy eating side of things, you find yourself so busy you grab the first chocolate bar you see.
I have recently started my last year at secondary school and I've decided to make some changes to my lifestyle. I am going to strive towards the goal of weight loss. Especially as I have an occasion at the end of my school year I want to look good for; Prom!
My tips that have set me off to a good start and I already feel healthier, I wanted to share these tips with you. They have really helped me, hopefully they will help you too. These are:

- It is never too late to start. Stop procrastinating, Just do it!
- Get your friends involved! Tell them your goals, maybe they share the same goal? You might find a workout buddy.
- Plan a workout routine and what you will do on each day. Stick to it! Doing this will make it easier to know what to do each day and you will soon see improvements
- Don't buy unhealthy food! The less you buy, the less you eat. There is no law saying to have to buy unhealthy food, stop buying it. However you should allow yourself treats.
- Enjoy what you are doing! Make it fun, don't force yourself to run if you don't like it. Find out what sports you do like doing. I like doing YouTube workout videos
- This is a lifestyle. Yes once you've lost weight you can eat a few more unhealthy things. But don't go back to your old ways. You will just gain the weight again.
