WHAT?!?!?!?!?! Where did 2014 go?
Yes, I know what you are thinking, this blog is a little late, well until yesterday I didn't know what to write. It was when I changed my calendar to February 1st. It dawned on me. This is 2015; my year to do something, make news friends, change old habits, have fun! During in January I have done nothing to make it feel like a new year and a new change. I have no idea why I didn't. I guess I hadn't really actually got my head in gear, and thought about the fact that its now 2015!

When it comes to new years resolutions I do like making them. But this year I hadn't really bothered. I think its because I make my own goals. Not once a year but everyday, or once every week maybe even once every month. I find making little goals for myself, when its convenient for me is what works best for me.
I find I achieve so much more by making small goals rather then big goals. Someone taught me this trick of making small goals and working towards them. Rather than giving yourself big unachievable goals all at once (New years resolutions). It was this woman at my secondary school who came into our school to give us a talk about her experience in climbing mountains. She said how she kept saying to herself "One step more, come on, you can do this!" I can't remember who she was, or her name. But she has made a big impact on me and my life.

This little tip of making small goals had especially impacted on me when it came to fitness and health. I can make a small goal like "Keep running, just up to this fence, come on! You can do this!" I can just make that in my mind and focus on it whilst running.
So as a summary, make your news year resolutions, but don't just stop there! Make a goal today! This tip has helped me, and I wanted to share it with you hoping it will help you.
